Mike Richter was a career New York Ranger. The team drafted him with the 29th overall pick of the 1985 NHL Draft and made his NHL debut in 1989. Richter played for the Rangers until the end of the 2002-03 season. He led the team to the Stanley Cup and was part of the silver medal-winning USA roster at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Richter is a US Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, and he was voted the No. 3 all-time New York Rangers player in 2009.
