A pair of Country Music Hall of Famers will be out on the road late this spring as the legendary Brooks & Dunn unleash their “Reboot” Tour on the nation. This will be a fairly limited tour by today’s standards, with Brooks & Dunn playing just over 20 arena shows across the country.
The band will perform a one-off gig on March 1 at Rodeo Houston, a livestock event that also features shows from the likes of Chris Stapleton, Machine Gun Kelly, New Kids on The Block, and Luke Bryan over its three-week run. The first actual arena show is on Friday, April 28 at the Nugget Casino Resort in Las Vegas. After hitting spots in cities like Fort Worth, Birmingham, and Orlando, Brooks & Dunn wrap up the “Reboot” Tour with a show at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, SC, on Jun 17.

This is not a tour out there to promote a new album. Brooks & Dunn haven’t released anything new (as a pair) in over a decade and a half, but their 90s hits are enough to still drive an arena tour of this nature. To that end, you can expect them to roll through their catalog of bangers, including “Neon Moon,” “My Maria,” and “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” developing a new audience while also catering to those that miss the country sound before Stadium Country took over the airwaves.
These shows will be unapologetically old school, with any new vibes coming from their supporting act. Scotty McCreery has ridden the platform given to him as the winner of the tenth season of American Idol in 2011, he gets to play this series of dates with a band he grew up a major fan of. McCreery has released five albums, with all five peaking in the top 10 of the US Country Albums chart.
