When Kansas City was selected as the host of the 2020 NFL Draft, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce formulated an idea. When Kelce and the Chiefs went on to win Super Bowl 57 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ, that idea became a plan. Now, the all-energy, all-party tight end is throwing the first-ever Kelce Jam on Friday, April 28, at the Azuta Amphitheater in Bonner Springs. Kansas.
As with anything that Kelce does, he is doing this right. Machine Gun Kelly is the headliner for the first-ever Kelce Jam – and the main reason to buy Kelce Jam tickets. Kelly and Kelce basically grew up together, with the pair living on the same street in Cleveland. This makes the singer of “Home,” “Emo Girl,” and “Bloody Valentine” the perfect choice for Kelce’s festival.

Kelly is not the only star that Kelce is bringing with him to Bonner Springs. The Draft Party will also see sets from Loud Luxury, Rick Ross, and Tech N9ne, with Kelce essentially signing all his favorite acts for the show.
Kelce said the following in a statement about his latest endeavor and his reasons for moving into the music festival space that isn’t short on competition.
“With the NFL Draft headed to Kansas City and as the perfect way to continue celebrating our Super Bowl victory, I am launching one of KC’s most unique festivals to date! I really wanted to bring the whole city together and what better way to do so than with fire music, great food, tons of football attractions, interactive brand activations and so much more.”

The NFL Draft attracts fans from all over the country to cheer – or, more likely boo – whenever a pick is made. This is the perfect accompaniment to the draft, especially as the first round – which is where all the big splashes happen – takes place on the Thursday before this Bonner Springs event.
