3 Doors Down and CANDLEBOX will be on an extensive tour this year that rolls from Wednesday, June 14, when they play Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore, MD, all the way through to Saturday, September 23, when they the Smart Financial Center in Sugar Land, TX. It is a tour with 30+ stops, with venues being placed, including Mystic Lake Showroom in Prior Lake, MN, Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, CA, and The Newberry in Great Falls, MT.

I am not sure it can be called a 20th-anniversary tour when it happens after 21 years, but this is the situation 3 Doors Down find themselves in. Their sophomore album – which went multiplatinum – Away From The Sun was released back in 2002. This is the album that broke the band out, with hits like “When I’M Gone” and “Here Without You” becoming alt-rock and mainstream radio staples throughout the early 2000s. Expect to hear songs from that album but also from their later works in a greatest hits set list.
