Sam Hunt will be touring this summer, and his ‘Summer on the Outskirts’ tour name is one of my favorites of the year so far. Hunt has a smattering of festival dates before the tour begins on Thursday, July 6, at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, CT. Hunt runs through July, playing gigs in cities like Wantagh, NY, and Orange Beach, AL, before closing the month with a show at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, MO, on Saturday, July 29.
Hunt continues into August, with dates in places like Mountain View, CA, and Rogers, AR. The final scheduled dates see Hunt play Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA, on Friday, September 8, and Coastal Credit Union Music Part at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC, the following night.

Hunt is a multi-platinum-selling artist who will spend the summer touring with Brett Young and Lily Rose. Young and Rose are scheduled to appear on every date with Hunt, so the three should have their sets fine-tuned early on in the tour.
Hunt has amassed an incredible 13 billion streams of his songs to date, with hits like “Hard to Forget,” “House Party,” and “23” being country music staples. He is known for the storytelling work in his songs, which becomes even more evident live as he has the type of charisma that pulls fans to the edge of their seats. It is hard to innovate from within the mainstream, but Hunt has someone who managed to toe that line, and country music is all the better for his contributions to the genre.
