Ricky Gervais is an award-winner at pretty much anything he puts his mind to. The British comedian is an actor, writer, and director, but his standup is some of the best out there, and he is well worth catching on tour. His ‘Armaggedon’ tour isn’t full of North American dates, but tickets for the dates he does have on the schedule are scarce for a reason.
Gervais’ next US date is Monday, May 1, at the Beacon Theatre in New York. That is followed by a gig at the Hollywood Bowl in LA on Saturday., May 6. Gervais then returns to the US touring on Friday, June 30, and Saturday, July 1, with a couple of dates at Radio City Music Hall in New York. August dates in Toronto and Montreal are all the dates currently on the tour schedule.

Gervais has previous when it comes to his standup. His 2021 tour ‘SuperNature’ was wildly attended and was one of the most-watched comedy specials on NetFlix when it was released on the platform the following year. ‘Armageddon’ will also eventually find its way to NetFlix, but not until 2024. That means that if you want to see Gervais at his acerbic and sarcastic best, you will have to find your way to one of his shows. The show at the Hollywood Bowl, in particular, will be a blast to attend, with the layout of the facility being unlike anything Gervais has done in the past.
