Los Angeles FC may be seen as the second team in the City of Angeles, but in 2023 they are flying the flag for the city. This makes it a perfect time to get out to BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and catch a Los Angeles FC match. There are plenty of games coming up on the home schedule of note. Those include matches against the top two teams in the Western Conference, with a match against second-placed St. Louis City SC on Wednesday, May 31, and against top-of-the-table Seattle Sounders on Wednesday, June 21. There is also the little matter of El Trafico, their derby with LA Galaxy, that Los Angeles FC will host on Saturday, September 16.
Here is the biggest question for Los Angeles FC based on their start to the 2023 season.

Can Los Angeles FC win the CONCACAF Champions League?
Los Angeles FC reached the final of the CONCACAF Champions League in early May when they took down Philadelphia Union 4-1 on aggregate. They now get to take on Leon of Mexico, the team that defeated fellow Mexican side Tigres in their semi-final.
This will be a two-legged affair. The first match is in Mexico, meaning that Los Angeles FC will know exactly what they need to do when Leon visits BMO Stadium on Sunday, June 4. Winning the trophy would be an outstanding achievement. Since the tournament move to its current format in 2009, the Seattle Sounders last year are the only non-Mexican club to win the competition. Los Angeles FC was beaten finalists in 2020. They will be looking to go one better here.
