Alaskan rockers Portugal the Man recently announced a tour of Canada that will hit eight cities over nine nights this November. The band announced this while still working through the final shows on their tour of the U.S. They will bring Toronto’s Good Kid along for the ride.
The tour starts on Canada’s West Coast with a November 6 date a Vancouver’s Orpheum. The band then treks east, stopping in Calgary (11/8), Edmontion (11/9), and Winningpeg (11/11). There are then four shows in Ontario, with two on back-to-back nights (11/15 and 11/16) at History in Toronto. The final show of the tour is on 11/19 in Montreal at MTELUS.

Portugal The Man is best known for 2017’s ‘Feel It Still” from their Woodstock album. The song plays on the melody from “Please Mr. Postman,” a 1961 song from the Marvelettes that was also a huge hit in the 70s for The Carpenters. This tour is not directly in support of their ninth studio album Chris Black Changed My Life, which was released in June, with the band playing both songs from their newest record and also rolling back through their back catalog for their biggest and most popular songs.
