The eyes of the college football world will be focused on NRG Stadium in Houston on Monday, January 5, as the No. 1 seeded Michigan Wolverines take on the No. 2 Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
Tickets for this one are not cheap. After Michigan and Washington disposed of Alabama and Texas, respectively, in close games on New Year’s Day, a lot is expected of the matchup. That is why the cheapest seats available at Immortal Seats are in the 600s Level and still cost the best part of $1,500 per ticket. Getting closer to the field is possible, with 300s Level seating starting at around $2,200 and 100s Level seats coming in at around the same price. Our most expensive seats are in the prime 100s level locations, costing over $10,000.

There are a ton of storylines here. Many expect it to be the last game Jim Harbaugh coaches at Michigan, regardless of the outcome. This will also be a matchup between future conference rivals as Washington joins Michigan in the Big Ten next season (expect to see that pushed by the conference for the entire 2024 college football season). There is a redemption arc for a former Big Ten quarterback in Michael Penix Jr., a sixth-year senior who led Washington to an undefeated season after injury issues made him flame out at Indiana.
This should be a classic and is well worth the price of a ticket if you are in the Houston area.
