Lil Wayne will be on the road this spring with his “Welcome to Tha Carter” tour, taking him all over America (with a Canadian stop in Toronto). Wayne – fresh from his appearance at the 2023 Grammys alongside Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, and others – starts his spring at The Filmore in Minneapolis on April 4. It might sound like a strange place for a New Orleans native to start touring, but Weezy is nothing if not unconventional.
The Northern leg of the tour includes stops at Baxter Arena in Omaha and the House of Blues in Boston – along with that gig at HISTORY in Toronto – before Wayne glides down the East Coast, hitting The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Iron City in Birmingham, and Marathon Music Works in Nashville. After dates in Texas, Weezy finishes on the West Coast with shows at SOMA in San Diego, The Masonic in San Francisco, and The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 13.
A full list of venues and dates can be found at the end of this pot.

Lil Wayne has a few solo studio projects on tap, but his last studio album was 2020s Funeral. That was his 13th album, and it was followed a year later by a collaborative effort with Rich the Kid. That album – Trust Fund Babies – was not as successful as Wayne has been on his own, with both Funeral and Tha Carter V (2018) both making it to No. 1 on the mainstream Billboard 200 album chart. They were the fourth and fifth No. 1 Billboard 200 albums in Weezy’s career, an impressive mark given his style of music is rarely seen as mainstream.
