Atlanta United 2023 Tickets & Key

Atlanta United has started the MLS season strongly, and they currently sit second in the Eastern Conference with four wins, one defeat, and one draw from their opening six matches of the season. They have turned Mercedes-Benz Stadium into a fortress – they are undefeated at home – and their 5-1 win over the Portland Timbers on March 16 is one of the most impressive wins of the season in MLS.

Their next home game is on Saturday, April 23, against the Chicago Fire, and any sports fan in the Atlanta area needs to get to a United game as soon as possible. Other Atlanta United games coming up this year include a clash with rivals Charlotte FC in mid-May, last season’s defeated MLS Cup finalists Philadelphia Union on July 2, and Inter Miami and their epically cool kit on September 18.

Here is the biggest key for Atlanta United based on their start to the 2023 season.

Can Atlanta United Win In A Fight?

We know this is a team that can win pretty games, but – as with a number of MLS teams – the jury is still out on how well they play when gets get physical. We may have had that question answered – at least to a degree – as Atlanta United turned over the New York Red Bulls at home last time out.

The Red Bulls like to play a certain way, a way that is both physical and direct. They are a team you have to compete against and that you cannot lose focus against for one second defensively. The match was pretty even, but Atlanta United met the physical confrontation to carve out more chances and score the crucial goal. There will be other physical challenges, but if they can repeat that type of performance, then this could be a big season in the Peach State.
