“Two Legends, One Night” is a bold claim. It is a claim that this tour featuring co-headlining performers Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks lives up to as well as any duel tour in recent memory. Joel and Nicks perform roughly one concert a month, hitting an NFL stadium and then parting ways before returning to the next city. One stop on their tour is Foxborough, with the Boston area able to hear these two icons of the 70s, 80s, and even 90s performing on Saturday, September 23. There are other stops – look for Nicks and Joel at Arrowhead in Kansas City on Saturday, August 19, and at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Saturday, October 7. Still, the Boston show will be one that music fans in the Northeast should do anything to attend in person.

This is an epic show. At a recent concert in Nashville, Joel performed 21 songs, and then Nicks closed the show with another 16. All the hits are here. Joel sings classics like “Only the Good Die Young,” “The River of Dreams,” and “Paino Man” before finishing with an encore hit of five essentials like “We Didn’t Start the Fire” and “Upton Girl.”
Nicks then takes center stage. Her voice is still wildly ethereal, and her encore set of “Rhiannon” and “Landslide” was joined this particular time by another legend in Sheryl Crow. This is a special tour, and it is one that you should get tickets to from Immortal Seats for some pop/folk/rock goodness today!
