English singer/songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae will cross the Atlantic this June for a quick tour of North America.

In June, Bailey Rae will begin her tour with a Wednesday, June 12, date at Motorcity Casino Hotel in Detroit. She is again playing a date in New York – this time at the Heart Theatre at the Egg in Albany on June 15 – along with gigs at places like Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis and Xcite Center at Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA. The final announced date is on Sunday, June 23, at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston.

Bailey Rae is probably best known for her 2006 hit “Put Your Records On,” a smash hit on both sides of the Atlantic. The neo-soul and R&B singer is a Grammy winner, and she will be playing cuts from her four studio albums. This includes her most recent album, Black Rainbows, released in 2023. It was another critically acclaimed album for Bailey Rae, one that in the artist’s own words was inspired by a Chicago museum exhibit that “summoned thoughts about slavery, spirituality, beauty, survival, hope and freedom”.
