The Survivor Series continues to sit in a weird place as one of the WWE’s Big Four Premium Live Events. It doesn’t have the prestige of WrestleMania or the lasting gimmick of the Royal Rumble. It also doesn’t have the party feel of Summer Slam. What it does have as of late is a tie-in to the legendary WarGames match, which is on November 25 at Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois.

The 2023 edition of WaGames (said in William Regal’s voice, obviously) is the continuation of a story that has been building for months. It will see the team of the Judgement Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysteriio, and JD McDonagh) taking on the team of Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn. The names in this one suggest that it could be one of the best WarGames matches ever, with a wild mix of athletic ability, willingness to take huge bumps, and wrestlers who know how to tell a compelling story over the course of a match like this.
In other announced matches, expect GUNTHER to flat murder The Miz in a way that will keep the whole crowd happy, while Zoey Stark won a battle royal to be the next victim for Rhea Ripley.
