In great news for Indie music fans, Scottish band Belle & Sebastian will be touring North America in April and May of 2024. The band will play classics and cuts from their two latest albums, Late Developers and A Bit of Previous. This tour has been a long time in the making. It was initially supposed to happen in 2023, but in late 2022, the band canceled all upcoming shows while Stuart Murdoch concentrated on his mental health. The great news is that Murdoch is fully recovered and that he will be a massive part of the shows in which the Weather Station and Haley Heynderickx will support Belle & Sebastian.
The first show will be on Tuesday, April 23, at The Eastern in Atlanta. The band will then hit iconic venues nationwide, including the Orpheum Theatre in Boston, The Anthem in Washington D.C., and Fillmore Auditorium in Denver. Belle & Sebastian finish their tour on the West Coast – as bands touring North America so often do – with four May shows in Califonia followed by a May 18 date at Revolution Hall in Portland and a May 19 set at the Moore Theatre in Seattle.
