After a pair of nail-biting Game 7s in the ALCS and NLCS, the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks won on the road to meet in the 2023 World Series. In a postseason full of upsets, these were another two shocking series winners. The Rangers entered as the No. 5 seed in the American League, beating the No. 4 seeded Tampa Bay Rays and No. 1 seeded Baltimore Orioles without losing a game before pipping their in-state rivals – and No. 2 seed – Houston Astros to make it to the World Series.
The Diamondbacks entered the playoffs as the No. 6 seed, the lowest seed of all National League teams. They also won their first two series – against the No. 3 Milwaukee Brewers and No. 2 Los Angeles Dodgers – without losing a single game. They then faced another surprising team in the NLCS, where they beat the No. 4 seed Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in Game 7 to set up a World Series matchup no one predicted entering the postseason.

We have tickets to all seven potential World Series games, and they are selling fast. Immortal Seats has tickets to Game 1 and Game 2 – this Friday and Saturday – in Dallas for around $600 for Standing Room Only tickets. The first seated tickets will set you back just over $900 to be in the Outfield Pavilion or in the Upper Reserve. Fans wanting to go to Chase Field for Game 3 will be paying around $800 for the cheapest Outfield Reserve tickets, though it is worth considering that Game 4 tickets are on sale for considerably less ($650 or so). If the series games to Game 5, Game 6, and Game 7, then expect prices to be in the $1,000 range as the series becomes knockout baseball!
