John Mayer already had a fall solo tour lined up across the US in 2023 with 18 dates kicking off with two nights at Madison Square Garden on October 3rd and October 4th. This run includes shows at the likes of TD Carden in Boston (October 6), Amalie Arena in Tampa (October 14), and the United Center in Chicago (October 18).
This will be the second leg of Mayer’s 2023 solo tour – his first ever solo tour – that saw its original dates in late March and early April this year. Mayer will now be kicking off this second leg with a newly announced date, an intimate show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on September 19. This date is a benefit for the Heart and Armor Foundation, a veterans health non-profit founded by Mayer himself in 2012. Tickets for this date are not cheap – you cannot get them for less than $600 with Immortal Seats – but the intimate setting and far reduced capacity compared to the rest of this arena tour will make for a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Mayer’s fans.
