Columbian-American singer Kali Uchis will be releasing her third studio album this March. Red Moon in Venus will have a supporting tour taking Uchis around the Americas, first playing dates in South America in March before performing in the US and Canada in April and May.
Uchis begins the US leg of her tour with a couple of Coachella dates (April 16 and April 23) before she plays three dates in Texas, the first being at the Moody Amphitheater in Austin on April 25. The tour takes Uchis up the East Coast with stops in locations such as the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Radio City Music Hall in New York, and the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston. Uchis then swings over the West Coast – via The Fillmore in Detroit and Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, finishing with dates at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix on May 28 and May 30, respectively.

Uchis is expected to release a pair of albums in the near future, one in English and one in Spanish. These follow the release of her first solo track in nearly two years back in September of 2022, the retro house-sounding “No Hay Ley.”
The most interesting aspect of Red Moon in Venus is that, according to Uchis, many of the tracks were written years ago. That means much of it was recorded during lockdown, a time that created its own sound as artists struggled to adapt to a world with no touring and high levels of isolation in what is usually an extremely collaborative business.
