Wade Boggs played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball, spending all his time in the American League East. He spent most of that time with the Boston Red Sox before signing for their arch nemesis New York Yankees in 1993. With the Yankees, Boggs won the World Series (1996) before finishing his career in Tampa with the Devil Rays in 1998 and 1999. Boggs finished his career with over 3,000 hits and over 1,000 RBIs. He was a 12-time MLB All-Star and was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame on his first ballot appearance in 2005.
