Glenn Jacobs, Mayor of Knox County, TN, and former WWE Superstar Kane, is the latest name to be announced for New England Fan Fest 8 at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick in Warwick, RI, on Saturday, July 29 this year. Jacobs is a huge get for the convention, a former three-time world champion as he held the WWF Championship, ECW Championship., and World Heavyweight Championship once each. This event will allow fans to meet Jaobs by buying tickets through Immortal Seats, choosing a photo op., an autograph, or both from the iconic wrestling big man.
We also have great news for Jacobs’ fans who cannot be there in person. Immortal Seats is accepting mail-in orders for autographs, meaning that even if you are too busy to attend the convention, you can still get that auto you have always wanted!
Jacobs was a massive part of the roster during WWEs attitude era. After a number of gimmicks that failed to take off, the current Mayor of Knox County was chosen to play the role of Kane, the kayfabe brother to the legendary Undertaker. It was a role that Joconbs quickly made his own, beginning with the best debut in wrestling history as he ripped the door off of the Hell In A Cell structure at ‘In Your House: Badd Blood’ in 1997.
Jacobs’ role in the company only grew from that point. Whether it was his initial run as a terrifying monster heel, his comedy work later as The Big Red Machine, or his late role as Corporate Kane, he always threw everything he had into the product. Jacobs is also a 12-time WWE Tag-Tag champion – most notably with The Undertaker – and his star power takes New England Fan Fest 8 up another level for fans of the wrestling business.
