Tickets to a Power 5 conference college football championship game shouldn’t be this cheap. Tickets to see the No. 3 Washington Huskies taking on the No. 5 Oregon Ducks at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas are on sale for less than $70 through Immoeral Seats. Those are for tickets in both the 400s and 300s sections at Allegiant. You can even get 200s Level tickets for less than $120, while 100s Level – the level closest to the field – are on offer for under $140. Those prices are simply outrageous.
The only reason I can come up with for this is that the trips from Eugene, OR, and Seattle, WA, to Las Vegas are so long that fans from the Pacific Northwest are staying up there to watch on TV rather than buying out sections of the stadium. The stakes are even high here. A Washington win assures the undefeated Huskies will be in the College Football Playoff. At the same time, the No. 5 Ducks would assume that a win over previously unbeaten Washington would send them into the playoff field.
There is even a revenge element, as the one Oregon loss on the season came at the hands of the Huskies back in mid-October. That 36-33 win for Washington was one of the season’s best games (regardless of conference), and fans who buy cheap Pac-12 Championship Game football tickets should be in for another treat in Vegas on Friday.
