Pearl Jam has announced a short tour this year that will see the boys hit five cities on nine dates from the beginning to the middle of September. The tour starts on Thursday, August 31, with a show at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is one of four venues where Eddie Vedder and company will be playing two shows, with the second coming two nights later on Saturday, September 2. The two-show format is also happening at the United Center in Chicago, Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, and the Moody Center ATX in Austin. The only one-show city on this tour is Noblesville, Indiana, where Peral Jam will be playing at the Ruoff Music Center on Sunday, September 10.

Catching Rock and Roll Hall of Famers on tour is always a good time. Pearl Jam has a long list of hits, so expect to hear songs like “Jeremy,” “Black,” and “Yellow Ledbetter” as part of their extensive set list. Pearl Jam is also known as one of the greatest live bands out there, with Vedder still hitting his notes and the driving indie rock they are known for still sounding as fresh today as it did in their heyday.
