I am not sure how many poeple had a new Pearl Jam album on their 2024 bingo card, but that is exactly what we will be getting this April. The legendary rockers will release Dark Matter, their 12th studio album and their first since Gigaton was released in 2020. Fans of the band now have an album to look forward to, the lead single from that album to listen to while they wait, and a massive World Tour to prep for coming up in 2024!
The North American part of the 2024 tour will take place over two legs. Pearl Jam’s first date is on Saturday, May 4 (Star Wars Day), with the first of two gigs that weekend at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. Two show sets in a city are a common theme of this tour, with Eddie Vedder and his crew playing multiple nights in many of the major tour stops.

The May leg of the tour ends with a couple of nights at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle before Pearl Jam crosses the Atlantic to play a series of stadium shows and festivals in Europe. They return to the US in Missoula, MT (of all places) as they play Washington/Grizzly Stadium on Thursday, August 22. The second set of shows takes Pearl Jam across the Northern United States, playing Wrigley Field in Chicago, Madison Square Garden in New York, and the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The final dates announced are Sunday, September 15, and Tuesday, September 17, at Fenway Park in Boston.
