Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills will be looking to repeat as AFC East champions after going 13-3 in 2022. It was a crazy season for the Bills, with the Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals being the only time in NFL history that a regular season game was canceled after starting and never made up. This was because of the cardiac arrest suffered by safety Damar Hamlin on the field after making a tackle, with Hamling thankfully having made a full recovery since the incident.
The Bills will look for storm into 2023 as one of the teams to beat in the AFC. Games to note at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY, include an October 1 tilt with Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins, a clash with the Dallas Cowboys on December 17, and their final regular season home game against the New England Patriots n New Year’s Eve.

How much does losing Tremaine Edwards hurt the defense?
This might be a slightly niche question, but such is life when you have a roster with as few holes as the Bills. One position that could be an issue is Middle Linebacker, where five-year starter Tremaine Edwards left a sizeable gap as he signed for the Chicago Bears this offseason.
The Bills have some options – Dorian Williams was drafted to replace Edwards in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Tulane – but stepping into the MLB position is like no other defensive role. That spot is the heart of the defense, the player expected to make the correct adjustments and lead the unit, and that is a lot to ask of a third-round rookie. Expect growing pains early and probably a rotation of Williams and other players, but the Bills need to have this spot nailed down late in the season if they want to make another playoff run.
