Philadelphia Eagles Tickets & Burning Question

The Philadelphia Eagles were one win away from defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in February to claim the Super Bowl LVII title. It was an outstanding game at the end of an outstanding season for the Philadelphia franchise, one where they won the NFC East with a 13-4 record ahead of a Dallas Cowboys team that pushed them all the way to the final weeks of the regular season. Now, let’s see what they have for an encore in 2023.

The Eagles’ home opener is on Thursday, September 14, when they face the Minnesota Vikings, the team that won the NFC North last season. The Eagles have a tough schedule, not least the stretch of home games against the Miami Dolphins (October 22), the Cowboys (November 5), the Buffalo Bills (November 26), and the San Francisco 49ers (December 3). Can Jalen Hurts repeat his MVP-level form of 2022?

Jalen Hurts was ridiculous last season. If it weren’t for Patrick Mahomes being slightly more ridiculous, Hurts would likely have been the regular season MVP, Super Bowl MVP, and Super Bowl champion himself. Hurts was 14-1 as a starter – the Eagles’ other two losses came when he was out of the lineup – had a 66.5% completion percentage, threw for over 3,700 yards, and had 22 touchdowns to just six interceptions. He also rushed for over 750 yards and 13 touchdowns while rarely running on downs where he was supposed to pass the ball.

The Eagles will need Hollywood Brown to be as insane as he was in 2022 and for the running backs to work out a viable committee with five excellent players vying for three spots at the position. If those kinks work out, and Dallas Goedert continues his progression at tight end, Hurts can be even better this fall.
