The 2022 Tennessee Titans went from a mid-season Super Bowl contender to missing the playoffs entirely after a disastrous final half of the season. Responding to losing their first two games of the year, the Titans went on a 7-1 run to sit at 7-3, entering a Week 12 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Titans dropped that contest, the first of seven games in a row they would lose to end the year. Three of those contests were divisional games, including two against the red-hot Jacksonville Jaguars, the team coming from nowhere to pip the Titans for the AFC South crown.
The Titans begin their 2023 home slate with a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 17. Tickets for that one are selling for just over $100 with Immortal Seats. Tickets for an October 1 game against the Cincinnati Bengals – one of the AFC favorites – are going for just under $200 – but cheaper options are available, such as games against the Carolina Panthers on Thanksgiving weekend ($60) and the Houston Texans on Sunday, December 17 ($50).

Is this a strong year or a transition year?
The Titans took their presumed quarterback of the future in the 2023 NFL Draft when they grabbed the cannon-armed Will Levis out of Kentucky. Levis and second-year wide receiver Tratlon Burks are the future of this squad. Still, with a core of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, running back Derrick Henry, and free-agent wide receiver addition DeAndre Hopkins, this team is still riding its veteran stars and looking to see them recapture their form from a few years ago.
The reward if Henry has another monster season and Hopkins provides some of the receiving threat that went missing with the trade of AJ Brown last year is obvious. Just as obvious is the outcome if Henry continues to be slowed by injury and Hopkins isn’t the player he was earlier in his career. The Titans are in a division where their only obvious threat for the crown is the Jacksonville Jaguars. If the Titans core cannot roll back to 2020/2021 form, it could be the last ride for this group in Nashville.
