You know a tour is selling well when an artist suddenly adds almost 20 new dates to an already extensive list of venues. That is exactly what happened here as Peso Pluma added another 18 dates to his tour of North America recently. The ” Double P Tour” was long-awaited, and the ticket demand makes sense as this is Pluma’s first North American tour. He is one of several Latin artists embarking on tours of the U.S. this summer, with demand for Latin music – be it rap, traditional pop, or something else entirely, being greater than ever on the northern side of the Rio Grande.

Pluma’s success is record-breaking. He currently holds ten positions on the Billboard Global 200, and he recently became the first Mexican artist to lead the ‘Daily Top Artists Meixo’ chart on Spotify Mexico. His later album, GENESIS, was released on June 22, and those tracks are blowing up worldwide. The result is these added show dates, most of which are in bigger venues than those previously announced, as demand for Pluma tickets goes through the roof.
