New England Fan Fest 8 has added another former WWE SuperStar to its convention roster as Lisa Marie Varon FKA Victoria has signed to appear at the con from 9 am to 3 pm on July 29 at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick. Varon is one of the most decorated female performers to sign to appear at the con. She is a former two-time WWE Women’s Championship winner, but her wrestling career was much more than her stints in Stamford, CT. She was a star in TNA, winning the TNA Knockouts Championship on five different occasions and adding one run (alongside Brooke Tessmacher) as the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion. One of the very best in her craft throughout the 2000s, Varon was the PWI Woman of the Year in 2004 and was ranked No. 5 in the same magazine’s list of top 50 female wrestlers in the world in 2009. We are delighted to add Varon to New England Fan Fest 8!
Varon is another massive name as New England Fan Fest 8 goes from strength to strength. Glen Jacobs, Mayor of Knox County, TN, and FKA Kane, signed on for the convention last month, joining the likes of Candice Michelle, Lina Fanene FKA Nia Jax, and ‘SmackDown!’s No. 1 announcer’ Funaki at the con.
A growing collection of WWE, WCW, ECW, and Indy legends will make this the wrestling convention of the year in the New England region.
