Press Release: Nia Jax Confirmed for New England Fan Fest 8

New England Fan Fest 8 has added another former WWE SuperStar to its convention roster as Savelina Fanene FKA Nia Jax has signed to appear at the con from 10 am to 2 pm on July 29 at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick. Fanene was born in Sydney, Australia, and is a cousin of Dwayne ‘ The Rock’ Johnson. She has won the Raw Women’s Championship once and is a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, with both wins coming alongside Shayna Baszler. Known as “The Irresistible Force” during her time with WWE from 2014 through to 2021, Fanene played a heel for most of her run with the company and was incredibly adept at drawing heat from the crowd.

Jax is another massive name as New England Fan Fest 8 goes from strength to strength. Glen Jacobs, Mayor of Knox County, TN, and FKA Kane, signed on for the convention last month, joining the likes of Candice Michelle, Rhyno, and ‘SmackDown!’s No. 1 announcer’ Funaki at the con.

A growing collection of WWE, WCW, ECW, and Indy legends will make this the wrestling convention of the year in the New England region.

Look for press releases on more huge names as they are added between now and the start of the convention.
