It is easy to imagine the scenario that led to indie rockers Real Estate coming up with their name. Is it a cool name for an alt-rock band? Absolutely. Does it make them impossible to find on a Google search without being incredibly specific because all the search does is throw up listings of houses for sale in the local area? Yes. Yes, it does.
If you can find Real Estate (the band), you are in for a treat. The rockers will be releasing their sixth studio album, Daniel, in February and will be going on a three-month tour across North America in support. They will be touring with three other bands over the journey, with Florry supporting the March dates, Marina Allen on the April dates, and Water From Your Eyes joining Real Estate for (most) of their May gigs.

The tour hits a number of iconic venues from its first stop on Friday, March 1, at the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver, BC, to its final date on Sunday, May 26, at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta. West Coast stops include Revolution Hall in Portland and The Bellwether in Los Angeles. Middle of the country stops are in venues like Thalia Hall in Chicago and Union Transfer in Philadelphia, while spots in the South include Scoot Inn in Austin and The Orange Peel in Ashville, NC.
Tickets are still cheap for a band that deserves more success if only people could find them.
