It is always cool to see a player who becomes a legend take his or her first steps into the top league in their sport. While it is too early to claim that Victor Wembanyama will be a legend, the signs are all there that the Frenchman could be something special. Widely touted as the best player to enter the NBA since LeBron James over two decades ago, Wemby is a 7-foot-4 unicorn with the handles of a point guard and the size of a reasonable Christmas tree.

While the Spurs are yet to announce when Wemby will play, fans certainly think he will be on the court for those first two contests.
