Sting 3.0 Tour Sees the Legend Forming A New Version of The Police?

Rock royalty will be on tour in North America in 2024. Legendary Police frontman Sting has announced a World Tour this year with North American dates running from September through November.

This is a different tour for Sting. He is a singer who could sell out stadiums, but this will be a more intimate tour. His ‘Sting 3.0’ tour sees him traveling with two other musicians, and the North American leg begins on September 17 at The Fillmore in Detroit.

It feels like Sting is trying to recreate the vibe of The Police with this tour. He will be joined by drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons) and guitarist Dominic Miller. Sting will sing and play bass, his regular combination.

The tour aims for the band to be tight and the venues to be intimate. Those venues include MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park in Boston (Oct 4), The Fillmore in Miami Beach (Oct 20), and The Masonic in San Francisco (Nov 6). The final tour stop is two nights at the iconic Wiltern in Los Angeles on Nov 12 and Nov 13.

Tickets feel reasonable at this point. Immortal Seats has some shows with the cheapest seats under $130. The lean is that these prices will rise over time, and we suggest you buy tickets to see Sting early to avoid missing out.
