It is a melancholy day for fans of Sum 41. The pop-punk pioneers announced in May that they would separate after the release of their eighth studio album. Now we have dates for this, with Heaven :x: Hell set to release this March. Outside of a new album and original music, the good news is that the band announced their farewell tour, with the ‘Tour of the Setting Sum’ scheduled to travel around the world through most of 2024 and with a final date in Toronto on January 30, 2025.

The Canadian band will begin their tour in Asia before their first farewell tour date on North American soil at The Astro in Omaha, NE, on April 19. The North American leg of the tour is split into two parts, with the band traveling to play the festival circuit in Europe over the summer to split up the two legs.
Gigs at venues like The Armory in Minneapolis, MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park in Boston, the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, and 713 Music Hall in Houston mean that the ‘In Too Deep’ rockers will spend their final tour playing some of the most iconic venues in the US. Their final date on the tour – before a three-month break to their final show in Toronto – will be at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 5.
