The NFL – and the AFC in particular – is a madness heading into Week 15 of the season. There are 11 teams in the conference with seven wins or more, and heading into Week 14’s Monday Night Football, there is only one team with double-digit victories. That team is the Baltimore Ravens (though the Miami Dolphins can join them with an MNF victory), and they take their 10-3 record with them to Jacksonville in Week 15 to face the 8-5 Jacksonville Jaguars.
This game is huge for both teams. The Ravens are locked in a battle with the Dolphins (and perhaps the Kansas City Chiefs) to be the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They must also be aware of what is behind them, with the entire AFC North currently holding a winning record. The Jags are slumping at just the wrong time, having lost back-to-back matchups and suddenly falling into the clutches of the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans, though both those 7-6 squads also lost this weekend.
The Jags are home underdogs here as they face a Ravens team that squeaked past the Los Angeles Rams on an overtime punt return touchdown in Week 14. The loss of wide receiver Christian Kirk really hurt the Jags in their defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Browns, and they have to find a way to get the ball into the hands of Calvin Ridley more often. This should be a good one, and with tickets starting at just $125, there is no reason not to catch this contest if you will be in the Jacksonville area this coming weekend.
