Super Bowl 57: Parties and Parking

There was a time when the Super Bowl was all about the game. In 2023, the game still matters – and you can buy Super Bowl 57 tickets here – but the fanfare surrounding the game is just as much (if not more) fun. There are just two of the 32 NFL teams left standings, so if you are not a fan of either team, then the game itself isn’t all that important. If you want to see and be seen, then checking out some of the parties below should undoubtedly be on your to-do list over Super Bowl weekend. Parking passes are a must if you are going to the game. Thankfully we have those for sale right here, too, so grab one now and don’t worry about trying to find a (massively overpriced) parking option on February 12.

Here are some events to check out in Glendale.

Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest

The 2023 lineup for Bud Light’s annual Super Bowl Music Fest sounds like it will be a lot of fun. These concerts occur at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, on the days leading up to the game. There are three different headliners – four if you count the duel headliners on Saturday – with similar (but different enough) musical styles.

Paramore headlines the show on Thursday, February 9, an excellent choice for an opening concert as Hayley Williams and her band are known for the energy in their live gigs. Dave Matthews Band is featured on Friday, February 10, while the concerts close with a double headliner, with sets from Imagine Dragons and Kane Browm o Saturday, February 11.

These are concerts that music fans should definitely check out before continuing their nights in and around downtown Phoenix.

Maxim Super Bowl Party

The Maxim Super Bowl Party has become a staple of the Super Bowl party circuit. This year will see performances by Zedd, Loud Luxury, and Plastik Funk, with others yet to be announced. This is a party where beautiful people socialize with other beautiful people and where VIP room tables go for over $50,000 for the night.

If exclusivity is what you are looking for, then this is the party to be seen at. This year’s theme has been set as a Catch Me If You Can experience, which will see guests dressing as the best of 60s mod culture. Think of the height of PAN AM, stewardesses being the most glamorous workers on the planet, and if you are going, then dress to impress!

Gronk Beach Super Bowl Party

Everyone’s favorite former Patriot has gone from playing in Arizona Super Bowls – his New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks here in Super Bowl 49 – to hosting Gronks Beach Super Bowl Party at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. Billed as the #1 Day Party of Super Bowl weekend, this pool party has performers lined up including 21 Savage, Diplo, and Lil Jon.

This will be the third Super Bowl Beach Party put on by Gronk after hugely successful events in Miami (2020) and Las Vgas (2022). Expect celebrity attendees, random current and former NFL stars, and a chilled out vibe that is perfect the day before the big game.

Super Bowl Experience 2023

Those looking for a little less party and a lot more football would be wise to check out the Super Bowl Experience at the Pheonix Convention Center. This is the NFL’s interactive experience, where you (and/or your kids) get to fun a 40-yard-dash, kick field goals, and run a Combine Obstacle Corse (among other things) to see how much athleticism you have left in the tank.

There are alsostandard exhibits – getting to see the actual Vince Lombardi Trophy is an annual highlight – and there is also the ability to do meet and greets with current players and Hall of Famers. The exhibit runs for five days only, the Saturday and Sunday the weekend before the Super Bowl – Febuary 4 & 5) and the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of Super Bowl week.
