Last month, Taking Back Sunday announced a monster tour that will see the emo/alt/indie rockers play 37 cities across two legs. The tour begins on Sunday, May 19, at The Fillmore in New Orleans, and the first leg wraps up on Friday, June 21, at another Fillmore, this time in Minneapolis. The band hits venues like White Oak Music Hall in Houston, The Van Buren in Phoenix, and Union Hall in Edmonton between the dates.

After breaking for a month to recover, the second leg begins on Wednesday, July 24, at Stage AE in Pittsburgh. The tour’s second leg rolls through Buffalo Riverworks in Buffalo, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, and MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park in Boston before closing with dates in Taking Back Sunday’s native New York City. Those gigs are at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on Saturday, August 17, and Sunday, August 18.
The tour will feature tracks from the band’s long back catalog and cuts from their newest album, 152, released last year. Taking Back Sunday was a staple on every high schooler’s iPod (or Zune if you weren’t making good choices in the early 2000s), with their debut record Tell All Your Friends and follow-up Where You Want to Be hitting the right emo notes for the time.
