It is not often that you get to watch the first act of something with already-established stars. That is exactly what will be happening in the comedy world this year, though, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler teaming up for their very first tour.
This is a limited-date tour and all the shows announced so far are in the Northeast of the country. The duo will perform four shows at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC on the weekend of Friday, April 28, before a similar setup in the Chicago area on the weekend of Friday, May 19. The third and final weekend announced to date is Friday, June 9, where they will be at MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park in Boston on the Friday for a pair of gigs, then at Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City, New Jersey for one show each on Saturday and Sunday.

The “Restless Leg Tour” sees the two comedy veterans sharing the stage after close to 30 years of friendship. This means there will be stories, anecdotes, and jokes, with the script being vague and Fey and Poehler looking to let their personalities and bond be the stars of the show.
The pair starred together on “Saturday Night Live”, so expect to learn plenty about their rise to fame there and the comedians that they worked with on that show. If conversation entertainment is your thing – or you just like to hear a couple of genuinely funny people who have led incredibly full lives tell tales – then this could be the comedy tour for you to check out this year.
