They may be from different eras, but their similar sound means that it wasn’t completely shocking when Train and REO Speedwagon announced a co-headlining tour together for summer 2024. Their ‘The Summer Road Trip 2024’ tour hits more cities than you can count as the soft rock combination travels up and down the highways of North America.
The tour announcement was followed by a mashup of hits on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, with the band’s lead singers belting out “Drops of Jupiter” and “Keep On Loving You” in a tour preview.

The tour – which also features support from Yacht Rock Revue – Begins on Monday, July 8, at the Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset, WI. It runs for over two months, with the final date being at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix, taking in venues like the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA, MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, and Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas along the way.
REO Speedwagon singer Kevin Cronin is looking – and sounding – great for 72, and with tickets to all shows available for under $100, this one feels like a no-brainer concert to attend in 2024.
