It really only makes sense that the first show – and the first residency – at the $2.3 billion Sphere at Venetian Resort in Las Vegas would be the most iconic living rock band. Irish legends U2 will play the first gig at the 18,000 seater arena that is the talk of the concert world this Friday, September 29. This show begins a series of dates until mid-December, with the final show of the 20 or so that Bono, The Edge, et al. play being on Saturday, December 16.
Tickets to see U2 are never cheap – such is their enduring popularity – so it should be no shock that seeing them at a brand-spanking new venue jacks up those prices even more. We have opening night tickets on sale at Immortal Seats for just under $400, while we would advise buying now if you see a ticket for any show sitting at under $300 per seat on our marketplace.
