Vance Joy boasts over 17 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and the Australiana singer/songwriter is another big-time artist embarking on a world tour in 2023. This tour comes after his third album, In Our Own Sweet Time, which came out on 10 June 2022. The tour sees Joy traveling worldwide, with the North American leg kicking off with a February 7 date at The Met Philadelphia. Joy winds through the US and Canada over the course of a month and a half, with the final show (to date) taking place on March 25 at The Anthem in Washington, DC.

Joy is probably best known to North American audiences for his 2013 mega-hit Riptide. That song has been streamed 1.7 billion times on Spotify and was the track that put him on the map and an Indie pop/Indie folk star on the rise. The Melbourne, Victoria native has ridden that wave. His combination of guitar, piano, and ukulele play gives him a sound that sets him apart from similar artists in the field.
Joy has seen a rapid rise since his days of working open mic nights at clubs in and around Melbourne.
