The 2023 Power Trip Festival, which is being held at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA, from Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8, is the most anticipated hard rock/metal event of the year. Sadly, the event lost some of its star power this week with the announcement that legendary frontman Ozzy Osbourne has had to pull out of the festival as his healthy isn’t good enough for him to take the stage and perform.
Ozzy was set to be part of Night 2 of the festival alongside AC/DC in what was the hottest ticket over the three days. This is because neither Ozzy nor AC/DC tours, while the Friday night bands (Guns N’ Roses & Iron Maiden) and the Sunday bands (Metallica & Tool) are all in the middle of their tours or have been on the road recently. The replacement for Ozzy has been announced as Judas Priest.
