Willie Nelson may turn 90 years old later this month, but the country and pop culture icon is showing no signs of slowing down. He is once against headlining his ‘Outlaw Music Festival’ tour this summer , with Nelson being joined by a combination of legends and up-and-coming artists on a 16-city jaunt around the United States,
The touring festival begins on Friday, June 23 , with Nelson being joined by the likes of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss at the Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset, Wisconsin . Nelson goes on to play venues like the Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas , the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, New York , and ends at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Sunday, August 13.

This festival has been Nelson’s pet project for over a decade and a half at this point. It is an event with a lineup that changes each year, and it is one that shows how his legacy is still growing even this late in his career. The collection of artists Nelson will be touring with includes Nelson’s family, friends, and acts that he wants to help kickstart to stardom using his massive platform.
