It is just under a month until the biggest professional wrestling weekend of the year!
WrestleMania is always a celebration of pro wrestling at its best, but this year’s WrestleMania XL feels extra spicy. That is excellent news for fans – especially those in attendance live – and we have tickets available for both nights of the show. The card is still coming together, but we now know that WrestleMania XL Night 1 will be main evented by The Rock and Roman Reigns as they take on Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Cody Rhodes in tag team action.
This makes ‘Mania XL Night 1 completely unmissable. Tickets to the event at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday, April 6, spiked in price as soon as that match was announced. We also have weekend passes for fans, while Night 2—on Sunday, April 7, at the same venue—looks set to be the place where Cody completes his story. Maybe.

The involvement of The Rock—perhaps the biggest draw on the entire planet—has raised the hype for WrestleMania XL to a different level. WWE has had to be careful with its use of the legend, with initial fan reaction to the Hollywood A-Lister being mixed (and that might be being kind) after he challenged Reigns—a fellow Samoan—for the Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship at the show.
While that would have been welcomed at most other ‘Manias, and it is a match fans want to see, the fan backlash came about because it would have shuffled Cody Rhodesa out of his title shot and the main event. Rhodes should have won the straps at WrestleMania 39, with the company extending Roman’s run with the belt by an extra year. The fans want to see Cody finish his story – one that took him from the gimmicky Stardust, through the Indys and Japan, to creating his own promotion, and eventually back to WWE – and they want to see him finish it at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals.’
